"Safina is a skillful facilitator of learning. She is responsive, thoughtful, considerate and reflective. With respect to planning and facilitation of adult learning, she always hears what is being said but also, she hears what is not being said. This helps inform questioning and inquiry and allows her to drill down into the core of the professional needs in support of student learning.

Safina is clear and direct and always keeps the student at the centre of her work."

~ Jordan (Ontario Certified Teacher)

"Safina is an engaging and motivating deep thinker and lifelong learner whose leadership and mentoring helped to invigorate our department planning and instructional practices to help our students become 21st century thinkers.

Safina's coaching and mentoring helped us to identify our learning gaps, differentiate our learning to meet our individual needs and helped us to align our actions with our intentions so we could make impactful, positive changes in our school.

Through Safina's thoughtful and effective coaching practices as FSL consultant, we were able, as a regional heads group, start to ask the right questions, reflect on our practices and move forward to make positive changes that have resulted in increased student achievement and engagement across our board.

Safina guides professional learning in an encouraging, non-judgmental way; she guides, persuades and leads us through a process that promotes discovery, collaboration, innovation, risk-taking and most importantly, a growth mindset."
